Privacy Policy
Moodpal is built as a private place to land when anxious moments, panic, or overthinking feel like too much. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
When you use Moodpal, we may collect account information such as your name, email address, and authentication identifiers; onboarding preferences such as concerns, reminder times, and support goals; check-ins, moods, notes, SOS session details, companion chat messages, and progress history that you choose to create; purchase and entitlement status from our subscription provider; and basic technical information needed to keep the app secure and working.
How we use information
We use your information to provide Moodpal’s core features, personalize your space, save your progress, sync your account, provide companion replies, send reminders you ask for, manage subscriptions, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Health and crisis notice
Moodpal provides self-support tools for reflection, grounding, and emotional regulation. Moodpal is not a medical provider, therapist, emergency service, or crisis service. If you are in danger or may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services immediately.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Moodpal may schedule gentle check-in nudges, reminders, or affirmations based on your preferences. You can change notification permissions in your device settings.
Subscriptions and payments
Purchases, trials, renewals, and restores may be processed through app stores and subscription services such as RevenueCat. We do not receive your full card number. Those providers process payment data under their own policies.
Service providers
We may use trusted providers for authentication, hosting, analytics, subscriptions, notifications, customer support, and AI-powered companion features. They may process information only as needed to provide their services to Moodpal.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect users, and maintain security. You may ask us to delete your account or personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.
Your choices
You can skip many onboarding questions, change reminder settings, disable notifications, sign out, restore purchases, or request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
Children
Moodpal is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
